Five-Star Luxury in Al-Khobar

Design
Approach

Our vision was the radical unification of a fragmented 1970s landmark into a cohesive modern sanctuary.
Facing a steep 45-degree slope and three disparate structures, our strategy focused on horizontality. We
introduced continuous linear balconies and a disciplined geometric grid to ground the buildings, allowing
them to settle into the pine forest rather than dominate it. By utilizing earthy tones and natural materials
like stone and timber, we blurred the boundaries between the built environment and the Attic landscape.
The result is a seamless dialogue between architecture and nature, transforming a dated complex into a
timeless coastal retreat.
